Composer, Arranger, and Orchestrator
Eric Horn is a composer, arranger, and orchestrator for film, TV, and games. His compositional style focuses on memorable, melodically-driven themes, and ranges from full orchestra to synthetic arrangements. He is influenced by the works of John Williams, Marty O’Donnell, and Grant Kirkhope.
Playing saxophone in high school, Horn got his musical start at a young age. He received a scholarship to study music and marketing at Minnesota State University, Mankato, and continued his musical studies at the collegiate level. Upon graduation, Horn put his marketing degree to work and pursed a career in business, which ultimately grew into a leadership position at a Fortune 15 company. Drawing upon the success of his business career, he decided to expand his passion for writing music and earned a composition degree from the Berklee College of Music.
Horn currently resides near Baltimore, MD, and is a member of the Maryland Filmmakers group, Annapolis Indie Film Club, Baltimore Indy Game Developer group, and International Game Developer Association of DC.
